Study Accordion in Alaska!

This summer come study accordion in the “Land of the Midnight Sun” with Henry Doktorski, at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival to be held at the scenic University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus from Sunday, July 16 through Sunday, July 30, 2006. Doktorski, a well-known concert accordionist, recording artist, and educator, will teach group classes and private lessons for beginner through advanced students, including diverse styles such as folk, popular, jazz, and classical. Teacher and students will also perform in recital (solo and orchestra) at various venues throughout Fairbanks.

In addition to enjoying the spectacular scenery, the incredibly long daylight hours, and the accordion, there will be plenty to do at the arts festival, which features multifarious activities in music (strings, woodwinds, guitar, harp, piano, voice, percussion, jazz, and theory), theater, dance, opera, story telling, creative writing, healing arts, visual arts, and ice skating!
