November 12, 2006, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: Henry Doktorski performed as guest soloist with the City Music Center Chamber Orchestra under the direction of conductor Jeffrey Turner in a performance of Astor Piazzolla's Adios Nonino. The concert was held at the PNC Recital Hall at Duquesne University.

The concert--a fundraising event for the City Music Center--featuring various faculty members of the City Music Center with the student orchestra: The City Music Center Chamber Orchestra. Conductor Jeffrey Turner is also the principal bassist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

Other works on the program included: Beethoven's Overture to Egmont, Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1 (orchestration by Debussy), Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brilliante featuring pianist Natasha Snitkovsky, Mozart's Concerto in A Major featuring clarinetist Jack Howell, and Tartini's Concerto in D Major featuring cellist Mikhail Istomin.

Doktorski is the Instructor of Accordion on the City Music Center faculty.
