May 5, 2025: PRO-Sitemaps.com has completed a survey of all the pages and images in Henry’s website and has calculated there are 1,114 pages, 2,957 images, and 329 videos in henrydoktorski.com. Henry was quite surprised and explained:
I had no idea I had put up so many pages and images on my humble website. I thought perhaps the total page count might have been a few hundred pages. However, after reflection, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. After all, I created the website for The Classical Free Reed, Inc. nearly thirty years ago, in 1997, after I took a free class on HTML code at the Carnegie Library on Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Soon after, I began writing about the accordion and other free-reed instruments and posting pages on the website, which was originally hosted on Freeservers.com (for a long time now defunct).
Four years later, in 2001, I established my own website at henrydoktorski.com, and began posting pages about significant events mostly about my career as a classical accordionist. Also around the same time that year, I created the website guidodeiro.com devoted to the great Italian-American vaudeville accordionist Guido Deiro (1886-1950), in collaboration with Guido’s son: Count Guido Roberto Deiro.
After the death of Roberto Deiro in 2019, guidodeiro.com went offline, and I felt a responsibility to keep this history of a great accordionist online, so I transfered some 80 pages to henrydoktorski.com. Similarly, I put the pages from The Classical Free Reed, Inc. (more than 500 pages) website on my website. Truly now my site has become a veritable repository of accordion history.
